I ordered new checks. Why is the MICR number at the bottom of my check different?

In May of 2015, all MICR numbers (the 14-digit number at the bottom of your checks) changed as a result of our system upgrade.

Your old MICR number still works, so any outstanding checks you've written with your old stock of checks will be honored, and there's no need to update your automatic debits and credits (e.g., direct deposit). No action is needed on your part.

You can also find your MICR number in online banking: on the Dashboard, click your checking account, then the "Account Details" tab above your transaction history.
