What is Shared Access and how does it work?

Shared Access is a feature in Quorum online banking that gives you a smarter, safer way to involve the people you trust in managing your finances—without adding them to your actual account.

Think of it as flexible, permission-based access that puts you in control. Whether you want a partner to help pay bills, a family member to monitor transactions, or a trusted helper to assist with transfers, Shared Access makes it easy and secure.

Note: Bill Pay is only available to invitees who are Quorum members enrolled in online banking and have established a bill pay profile.

What Invitees Can Do
Depending on the permissions you grant, your invitee may be able to view accounts and transactions, transfer money to and from accounts, and pay bills. 

Set Up Shared Access (Primary Account Holder):

  • Log in to online banking (set up not available in the mobile app).

  • Select the user icon, then Settings > Shared Access.

  • Select Add a User, then enter the require information.

  • Under Choose Permissions, select what you want them to be able to do, click Save, agree to the disclosures, then click Confirm.

  • A confirmation code will appear. Share this code with your invitee. They cannot complete setup without it. Code expires in 24 hours.

  • The invitee will receive an email with a link to access online banking and must use your confirmation code to complete enrollment.

Steps for Shared Access Invitee:

  • Open the email invitation and select the link provided to reach Quorum online banking.

  • Read and accept the terms and conditions.

  • Enter the confirmation code you received from the account holder.

  • Choose one of the following paths:

    • Quorum members with online banking: Select Log In and sign in with your username and password.

    • Quorum members without online banking: Select Register to enroll and create your credentials.

    • Non-Quorum members: Select Sign in as a Guest to create a guest profile.

  • Once logged in, you will see your dashboard with only the accounts and permissions the primary member has shared with you.
