What types of trusts does Quorum support for account conversions?
Quorum currently supports account conversions for revocable trusts only.
That means members who already have a completed revocable trust may be able to retitle eligible Quorum accounts so the account ownership aligns with the trust. Quorum does not create trusts, provide legal or tax advice, or support conversions for other trust types, such as irrevocable trusts, special needs trusts, charitable trusts, or testamentary trusts. If you are unsure what type of trust you have or what structure is appropriate for your situation, consult an attorney or other qualified estate-planning professional.
Trusts are typically established with the help of a legal professional. Quorum does not provide legal or tax advice. We recommend consulting with your attorney or other professional to determine what's appropriate for your situation. You need to review a strategy for your own particular circumstances that takes into account the applicable laws in your state before making any decisions.
